Carmine Marinaro | Founder, President & CEO
Carmine Marinaro has more than four decades of experience helping technology companies attract, recruit and retain the industry’s top performing C-suite and sales professionals throughout the United States. Carmine’s exceptional achievements are reflected in his extensive network of employers and talented sales and sales management professionals. He has set an industry benchmark for speed-to-hire by translating these relationships, along with his deep industry knowledge, into successful employer/employee matches.
He founded Corporate Information Systems (CIS) in 1987 to address executive sales teams’ recruiting needs of early stage, venture capital-backed startups, pre-IPO businesses, and Fortune 500 companies. Focused on cutting-edge technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Cloud infrastructure, Cybersecurity and CRM and ERP solutions, his extensive roster of long-term clients includes such notable organizations as Beyond Trust, Centrify, Deep Instinct, Domino Data Lab, IBM, Kofax, and ON24, among others. Under his leadership, Carmine has expanded his firm’s expertise to better serve the needs of his existing clients and pursue growth opportunities in new industries. CIS now offers executive recruiting consulting and has added a Food and Beverage division to their repertoire.
During the past 30 years, Carmine has grown CIS into one of New Jersey’s most successful technology recruiting firms, serving clients nationwide and earning the distinction of being named one of America’s Best Recruiting Firms by Forbes.
Tony Marinaro | Chief Operating Officer
Tony has been with the firm for the past 23 years, Tony is responsible for all day to day operations for CIS and also focuses on recruiting nationally for the firm. Throughout his tenure with CIS Tony has successfully built some of the leading sales teams for some of the software’s industry marquee Ventured Backed Start-ups to the biggest Fortune 500 software companies.
Tony has been responsible for over 2000 placements and searches for CIS, he has taking pride in securing and maintaining relationships with the industry’s “A” players who require complete confidentially when conducting a search. His passion is to find the right client for his candidates and the right candidate for his clients. Tony has been awarded numerous Salesperson and Employee of the Quarter awards as well as receiving the prestigious President’s Award multiple times.
Tony’s many accomplishments have led him to be one of the industry’s leading and well-known Executive Recruiters Nationally. Tony is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in Business. Tony lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife and they enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending their summers at the Jersey shore.
Jim Sparacia | Chief Revenue Officer
With almost 24 years of tenure in executive recruiting, Jim has been an integral part of building the brand at CIS. His track record of success stretches from coast to coast. His clients have ranged from fast growing startups like SecureAuth, ON24, and Datastax to industry mainstays like Adobe, IBM, and EMC. Jim’s reputation as a trusted advisor to his clients and candidates is well known and his ability to locate and recruit the toughest of candidates is what keeps clients coming back to Jim time and time again.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Jim has taken an active role in the hiring, training and mentoring of new hires at CIS. A commitment to sales excellence has been a mantra Jim has prided himself on. Several successful recruiters in the industry today originally cut their teeth in a training class run by Jim.
Prior to CIS, Jim comes from a diverse background in Financial Planning and Law Enforcement. This varied experience has given Jim a well-rounded set of skills that he utilizes to this day. Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice & English from University of Delaware, and a master’s degree from Jersey City State. He lives in Northern NJ with his wife and three children.
